About the Archives
What's in the Archives
The Talent Historical Society's Jackson Country Pioneer Index contains records of over 19,000 early settlers of Southern Oregon from about 1853-1900. Much of our copyrighted historical information cannot be found elsewhere.
Viewing the Pioneer Index
Although we cannot present the huge volume of information contained in our Pioneer Files on this website, we offer a complete index of the historical indivuals contained within our Archives. Our listings are sorted alphabetically by last name. Each listing contains the individual's name, their unique Personal ID (needed for ordering historical records), and their father's and mother's names.
To browse the index, simply click on the desired alphabetical link in the left-hand area of this site (these are entitled "Pioneers A-B", "Pioneers C-D", etc.).
(A complete record of all available information may be viewed on-site at either the Talent Historical Society, or at the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society)

Additional Notes
Please be aware that although we do our very best to gather complete and accurate information, some records may contain misspellings, omissions, or potential errors, for which the Talent Historical Society cannot be held responsible.
